Smoke from the Canadian wildfires is gradually moving east. Temperatures should drop only into the 50s and 60s tonight with mostly clear skies.

With less smoke in the sky tomorrow, high temperatures for Thursday should be able to warm into the 90s for parts of Connecticut. Bradley International Airport hasn't warmed to 90 degrees since late August.

Our next chance for rain comes along a slow-moving cold front by late Friday. A few showers and storms could create some heavier downpours as we track rain chances through Saturday, as well. Saturday shouldn't be a washout, but showers will be most likely in the afternoon and evening hours.

This next cold front will cool temperatures back into the 70s this weekend and into early next week. However, the 80s will return by the end of next week.
