Tuesday will likely be our final dry day for the next several days, because rain shower chances will increase thereafter.

An area of low pressure will advance toward Connecticut from the Southeast U.S. on Wednesday, bringing with it a certain mugginess. A few isolated rain showers will be likely Wednesday, then the storm system will linger through Thursday.

Rain chances will remain elevated Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It won't rain the entire day, but mostly in the afternoon each day. Also, the anticipated rain this week does not appear as though it will be as heavy as last week's deluge.
