1 to 2 inches of rain is possible with this storm.

The Weather Prediction Center has already placed CT under a level 1 flood risk for the end of next week. While widespread flooding isn't expected some scattered issues may develop.

By Friday rain chances begin to go down but on and off scattered showers still look possible.

Most of the holiday weekend is looking dry although there could be a leftover shower on Saturday. After this system passes rain totals could amount to another inch or inch and a half of rain.

The good news is that temperatures will begin to rebound back to near 70° by Sunday and Memorial Day Monday.
