A line of downpours and gusty winds pushed through Connecticut late Saturday evening. Wind gusts reached up to 35 miles per hour, while rainfall accumulated up to a half inch in parts of the state. As the rain ends, it will be replaced by a less humid air mass on Sunday.

Sunday will feature a mostly sunny start to the day, followed by quickly increasing clouds by late morning. By the afternoon, a mainly cloudy sky can be expected. It will be cool with a bit of a breeze up to 25 mph.
Our next impactful weather system, a nor'easter, arrives late Wednesday into Thursday. In the winter, this would provide us substantial snowfall. This time of the year, it will provide cold, raw weather conditions.
