A lighthouse in Long Island Sound near Fairfield is up for auction.
Penfield Reef Lighthouse was built in 1874 and it’s on the National Register of Historic Places.

The lighthouse, which is accessible only by boat, is one mile from the entrance of Black Rock Harbor in Bridgeport.
